Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful building. We had a sauna in our room which I was not expecting, it was very nice! The breakfast was excellent, lots of home made things to try. The owner was very friendly. There’s also a very nice lounge to have a drink and the garden looks beautiful for when the weather suits.

Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen. Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.

Location few meters from the forest, silent and green. Breakfast was simple and complete, they prepare warm eggs for you if you want. There is a closed hut for the bikes, where it is also possibke to charge them. I have really nothing to complain about... Super happy and will go back for sure!
